Terms of sale

These terms cover buying a place on AI Without the Hype, an online course by Brains over Bots. Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, email us and ask.

1. Who sells the course

Brains over Bots is a trading name of ROAS HACK LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, no. OC451746, registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. Email: hello@brainsoverbots.com.

2. What you buy

• A place on one cohort of AI Without the Hype: a four-week online course in English, with subtitles.
• Three packages. Clear Desk: the recordings of modules 1–4. Real Work: modules 1–6, four live Q&As, the course chat and a certificate listing the modules you finished. Hands-Free: all 8 modules, everything in Real Work, and the extras listed on the course page.
• Modules are recorded video lessons of about 2–3 hours each, in short chapters. They open on fixed dates, two a week. Each one is recorded shortly before it opens, so the tools, screens and prices in it are current.
• In Real Work and Hands-Free, a live Q&A takes place online once a week. The recording is up within 24 hours.
• You watch on Kajabi, our course platform, in a browser on a laptop or phone. After you pay, we email you how to log in, before the course starts.
• You keep access to the recordings, files and updated chapters for six months from the day the course starts.
• A module counts as finished when you have watched every chapter of it. The certificate lists the modules you finished; it is not an accredited qualification.

The course page shows what each package includes on the day you buy. That description is part of these terms.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in pounds, euros or US dollars, set by where you are: pounds in the UK, euros in the EU and other euro countries, US dollars everywhere else. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay; we add nothing to it. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge its own fee.
• Early prices rise on the dates published on the course page. You pay the price shown on the day you pay. Prices never go back down.
• You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Some ways to pay at checkout come from other providers. If you choose one, your agreement with that provider is separate from this one and under its own terms; this contract and your rights under it stay the same.
• You can move up a package until the end of day 14 of the course. You pay the difference at the prices of the day you bought.

4. Our guarantee: a full refund until the end of day 7

If the course isn’t for you, email billing@brainsoverbots.com by the end of day 7 of the course and we refund the full amount. No reason needed. Your email is the request: the date you send it counts, however long our reply takes. Before the course starts, you can cancel at any time for a full refund.

We pay refunds within 5 working days, to the payment method you used. If you paid through another provider, the refund goes back through that provider.

5. Cancelling

Before the course starts, you can cancel at any time for a full refund. Until the end of day 7 of the course, our guarantee in section 4 gives you the full amount back, no reason needed.

To cancel, email billing@brainsoverbots.com or use the page Cancel an order. We confirm by email that we received your request, and we refund within 5 working days, to the payment method you used.

6. Using the course

• Your place is personal and can’t be transferred to someone else.
• The recordings, files and templates are for your own use and your own work. Please don’t share your login, the recordings or the course files with people who haven’t bought a place.
• If a login is shared, we may suspend it after telling you why.

7. What we don’t promise

The course teaches methods for using AI at work and checking what it produces. We make no promise about income, earnings or business results, and nothing on our pages is a promise of that kind. What you get out of the course depends on how you use it.

8. Changes

• We may need to move a live Q&A. If we do, we tell you by email as early as we can, run it on another date during the course and post the recording within 24 hours.
• Tools and their prices change, and we update chapters when they do. If we change something important in your package before the course starts, including the start date or the times of the live Q&As, you can cancel for a full refund.
• If we have to cancel a cohort, you get a full refund.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for loss of business, profit or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

10. If you buy for a business

If you buy on behalf of a business, the same cancelling rules apply: section 4 and section 5. We can send an invoice in your company’s name.

11. Complaints and the law

If something goes wrong, email us first at hello@brainsoverbots.com and we’ll try to put it right.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

12. Reserving a place

When the checkout offers it, you can reserve a place in any package for 100 in the currency of the page (£100, €100 or $100). A reservation:

• keeps the price of that package on sale on the day you reserve;
• counts towards that price: the rest (that price minus the 100) is due before the course starts;
• comes back in full if you ask before the course starts, for any reason: email billing@brainsoverbots.com. Your email is the request: the date you send it counts;
• if the rest isn’t paid by the start, your place is released and we refund the reservation payment in full within 5 working days.

Once you have paid in full, everything else in these terms applies, including the guarantee in section 4.
