Prize draw and video competition: terms
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Two promotions run alongside our free live sessions. At every session we draw one free place on our course among the people who shared their result from the mistake-hunt game. And at every session, the own video about the game with the most views wins a bigger package. These are the full terms for both.
Who runs it
The promoter is ROAS HACK LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, no. OC451746, registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom, trading as Brains over Bots. Questions: hello@brainsoverbots.com.
Who can enter
Anyone aged 18 or over, except our staff, the people who help us run the sessions, and their households. You can enter from any country where this kind of promotion is allowed; it is void where local law doesn’t allow it. No purchase is needed, and buying the course does not improve your chances. We check the winner’s age and country before we give the prize.
Part 1 · The session prize draw
How to enter
- Play the game on brainsoverbots.com: pick a document, find the mistakes, then sign it or send it back.
- Post your result publicly on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Facebook or LinkedIn: our ready-made picture or video from the game (1 entry), or a video you made yourself about the game (5 entries; it also counts for Part 2). Mention our account in the caption: @brains_over_bots on Instagram, TikTok, Threads and YouTube, @BRAINS_OVER_BOT on X; on Facebook and LinkedIn, tag our page Brains over Bots in the post. On YouTube, put @brains_over_bots in the title or the description.
- That’s it. You don’t need to send us the link: we find entries through the mention of our account.
Keep the post up and your account public until the draw. The mention has to be in the post itself: Stories, comments and private accounts can’t count, because we can’t see or check them. Each person can have at most one ready-made entry (1) and one own-video entry (5) in each session’s draw. Private messages (WhatsApp and the like) can’t count, because they aren’t public.
When entries close
One hour before each session starts. Later entries go into the next session’s draw.
How entries are checked
We check every entry we find: the post and the account must be public, and the post must mention our account on that network. Posts that don’t meet these rules don’t count.
The prize
At each session: one place on the Clear Desk package of our course, AI Without the Hype. No cash alternative and not transferable. If the winner has already bought a place, we move them up one package at no cost: Clear Desk to Real Work, Real Work to Hands-Free. If they already have Hands-Free, we refund the price of Clear Desk. The winner is responsible for any tax due on the prize in their country.
How the winner is chosen
At random, live on camera during the session’s Q&A, from all valid entries, with a random number generator shown on screen. Each entry is one ticket in the draw, so an own video gives you five tickets. You don’t need to be at the session to win. We keep the recording.
Part 2 · The video competition
How to enter
Make your own video about the game, 15 to 60 seconds: for example your screen while you hunt the mistakes, or you talking to camera about an AI mistake that nearly went out under your name. Post it publicly on Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Facebook or LinkedIn by the end of the day of the session you signed up for (UK time), and mention our account, as in Part 1. Each session has its own competition. You don’t need to send us the link. The same post also counts for Part 1.
The rules for videos
- It must be your own work, and everyone who appears in it must agree to be in it.
- No real client data, private documents or other people’s confidential information.
- Music and clips only from the platform’s own library, or ones you have the rights to.
- No bought views, bots or view-exchange schemes. We may disqualify any video whose views look unnatural.
- It must follow the rules of the platform it’s on.
The prize
One place on the Real Work package of our course (€990), at every session. Same upgrade, cash and tax rules as in Part 1, one package up from Real Work.
How the winner is chosen
For each session, the video with the most views at the end of that session’s day (UK time), counted as the platform shows them publicly on the post, across all seven networks. We record the view counts of the leading videos at that time with screenshots, and we may ask the top entrants for their own statistics. If two videos have the same views, the one posted first wins. We announce the winner live at one of our sessions and on this page within 7 days of that day.
Using your video
Your video stays yours. We only repost or feature it, with your name or handle, if you say yes when we ask you, and we take it down if you change your mind.
How we tell the winners
We name the winning account live during the session and on this page, and we send it a direct message. To claim the prize, the winner messages us from that account, or emails hello@brainsoverbots.com, within 14 days; then we check their age, country and that the account is theirs. If nobody claims the prize within 14 days, we choose again the same way. Prizes are given within 30 days of the claim.
Winners
We publish each winning account on this page. After the prize is given, we also publish the winner’s first name, the first letter of their surname and their country, unless they object.
Your data
To run these promotions we use what your entry makes public: your handle, the link to your post, its caption and its public view count. We don’t keep a copy of the post itself, only the screenshots of the leading videos’ view counts at the closing time. If you win, we also use your name, your country and the email or account you write to us from, to give you the prize. We delete entries 30 days after the draw or the competition they belong to, except winners’ details, which we keep as long as the law requires. See our privacy page.
The platforms
These promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, X, Threads or YouTube. By entering, you release those platforms from any liability. Entries that break a platform’s rules, including the YouTube Community Guidelines, are disqualified.
Changes
If something outside our control stops a draw or the competition from running fairly, we may move, change or cancel it, and we say so on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
